Call to action

The Year is 1491. The month is Zeune.

After centuries of isolation, the enigmatic Aurean Empire has opened its gates to a limited number of settlers. Alongside this event, an ambitious initiative is born: a multinational coalition formed by powers of Opeia to safeguard peace and confront growing shadows.

You have been summoned to Pathstow, capital of Peltragowe, to train at Salazoth Academy. From there, your journey begins not only across the land, but into its deepest mysteries and oldest wounds.

"Dear Applicant,

The letter reads in crisp, immaculate handwriting:

Thank you for your interest in our mission. Based on our findings we're pleased to invite you to the capital city of Pathstow, in Peltragowe, for your training as a prerequisite of your inauguration.

We implore you to join us at the beginning of this journey on the 15th of Zeune. Please make your way to the Salazoth Academy and report to staff members for registration. Candidates will be accommodated at the Cock & the Bull free of charge for the duration of their training; this letter serves as their documentation.

Note that the above summon sanctions but does not confirm enlistment.

Together we can achieve all that is impossible,
The Restoration Effort."

Lands to explore, sights to see...

Mahidah
A kingdom of extremes, from searing deserts to miraculous rains. Ancient, peaceful, proud.
The Naj’aagu Wild
A thriving, untouched expanse guarded by nomadic tribes.
Peltragowe
Once a mighty empire, now humbled and rebuilding. Home of resilience and restless ambition.
Tenedad
A land caught in the wake of invasion and betrayal, where magic runs deep and law has eroded.
The Aurean Empire
A veiled arcane power with vast resources, a strange hybrid of hedonism and order, with secrets behind every shimmer of magic.
Inlinbus
Uninhabitable. Unforgiving. Vacation hotspot of the terminally unwise.

The Dalanbar Herald is a fictional journal updated whenever my time allows.

These short reportings expand on the lore, they reflect on the standard news cycle and what would be considered common knowledge.

Listen well, people of Opeia.

The month of Ikhter has brought news stranger than a goat that pays its taxes (may it reflect kindly upon your fortunes.) It seems the folk of the Wilds, Mahidah, Peltragowe, the Empire, and yes,…

Testimonials

"Having had Mandy as my DM since April 2024 in her homebrew setting, I have many reason for loving her DMing style. I particularly like how atmospheric sessions are, how each location and NPC feels unique, how much she listens to and accommodates her players, how much agency to fuck around and find out we have, and how ruthless her world can be - which in turn makes every win feel earned. Her decisions are always sound and I truly feel like we collaborate at the table and between sessions to write a story that feels cool to all of us, and that's ultimately I look for in D&D."

"Without a doubt the best DM I've had the pleasure of playing with."
Eerie
"I cannot recommend Mandy enough as a dm, this game is one of the best I have played. Her creativity and world building are extraordinary, and she takes the time to weave your character into her living and breathing world. The game and dm are worth every penny!"
Ryan
"Having played DnD for 4 and a half years at this point, I can confidently say that Mandy has some of the most interesting and consistent world building and storytelling I've experienced. If something about the world and current events are mentioned, they aren't just throwaway lines. The world exists outside the players, so something like a disease that was mentioned in session 1 will keep spreading in the background, even if the players do not immediately interact with it and then comes back as a topic 20-something sessions later because it has continued to spread. You might be the heroes and protagonists, but the world lives and breathes outside your immediate circle. To me that is great storytelling."
Eli
"Mandy is a DM you can trust. You might find yourself in a point where something about the story doesn’t make sense. Trust her she knows what she’s doing. Trust that she will read your backstory and incorporate it into the story. If you find yourself having trouble about something talk to her and she will listen. She cares about her players opinions and will take feedback to heart. She also cares about the world she is running and you can see that immediately with what how much detail and thought went into it, and you will be rewarded if you enjoy diving into lore and bringing things up regarding the lore. If you want a DM who cares about their players, the game world, and knows the rules you can put your trust in her and she won’t let you down."
Pliskin
"Opeia is a world that at the surface feels like a living being, countries that are well developed, and day-to-day one time bits that all adds up to an entertaining time. Mandy so obviously has a deep love for the world she's created and allows for more player agency than 99% of any other dm I've played with. Worth the cost and then some."
